
• Problem Statement: A very large Multinational Enterprise was planning to roll out SAP R/3 to its affiliates in Africa and Middle East Region. It, however, had concerns about the cost of deployment, the availability of resources and maturity of the organization to absorb the technology and use it to drive business.
• TDC Response: TDC was involved in meetings in Europe and America and coordinated fact-finding missions in Nigeria to determine the fit of the technology, review costs and budgets, and to plan change management and training interventions to assure successful deployment. TDC assembled a team and coordinated a successful bid for the provision of training and change management services to the company.
• Outcome: The client had a highly successful implementation and transition to the SAP R/3 solution with minimum disruption to the business.
